Our last morning at Arrowhead—wet ground, cool air, and a whole lot of gratitude. The team lined up in front of the lodge before heading out, still talking about the amazing meals and hospitality.
Just outside Lake City, fresh snow greeted us above 11,000 feet. The air was crisp, spirits high, and this duo (jack and Greta) couldn’t hide their excitement for winter finally arriving.

After a weekend of fun, incredible food, and unmatched hospitality at Arrowhead Mountain Lodge, we packed up the vehicles and headed south toward Lake City, Colorado. The plan: hike toward Wetterhorn Peak, one of the San Juan 14ers. Overnight snow dusted the high country—our first taste of winter—and everyone was buzzing with excitement.
The day had everything: mountain views, early snow crunching under our boots, group jokes in the truck, and that unbeatable feeling of being out there together.
