In 2025-26 season, the CMU Cross Country Ski Team will be limited to 10 athletes, divided into two groups:
- National Race Team: 6 athletes (3 men, 3 women)
- Development Team: 4 athletes
All team members will compete in Conference races, but only the 6 athletes on the National Race Team will represent CMU at the USCSA National Championships.
To Join the Colorado Mesa University Cross Country Ski Team:
- Apply with the team's coach Marcin (Martin) Wiesiolek to join: https://cmunordic.org/join or mwiesiolek@coloradomesa.edu. Questions, call the coach at 970-201-8113.
After being accepted onto the team by the head coach:
- Initiate the process of obtaining medical clearance from the Athletic Trainer, by completing the Sportsware Registration at http://www.swol123.net/
- Pay your club dues by charging to your student account: → Club Dues (click Club Dues > click Add to Cart > select 'Cross Country Ski - New Athlete' or 'Cross Country Ski - Returning Athlete' from the Club Dues pull-down > complete the rest of the payment information) The cost is $800 for returning athletes and $1,350 for new athletes, which includes team apparel. Join the U.S. Collegiate Shttps://www.uscsa.org/memberregistration.htmlki and Snowboard Association (USCSA):
- Students must be registered as USCSA competitors at https://www.uscsa.org/athleteteamregistration.html ($24 if registering by Oct 31, $49 full rate if registering later)
