CMU’s Jayna Boonstra Claims Silver in 15K Classic at USCSA Nationals

The 2025 USCSA National Championships witnessed an electrifying Women’s 15K Classic Mass Start at Mt. Bachelor Nordic Center, where Jayna Boonstra of Colorado Mesa University powered her way to a silver medal in a highly competitive field.
Jayna’s performance was a testament to her endurance, resilience, and refined technique—marking a major milestone for CMU on the national cross country ski racing stage.

- Jayna Boonstra (Colorado Mesa University) – 59:08.9 (+1:48.64)
- Amaeli Kam-Magruder (St. Olaf College) – 59:20.1 (+1:59.90)
- Liesl Cope-Schaeffer (St. Olaf College) – 59:30.7 (+2:10.51)
- Lily Ward (St. Olaf College) – 1:00:45.5 (+3:25.27)
Jayna’s second-place finish was the standout result for CMU, especially impressive against a dominant St. Olaf College squad that claimed four of the top five spots.
With this historic podium result, Colorado Mesa University continues to solidify its place as a rising force in USCSA cross country skiing.
